Video: Jimmy Wayne Running In The Woods As A Tornado Approaches

Jimmy posted this video of himself and his dogs hiking in the woods today when a tornado started bearing down on them. Luckily, he and Ruby and Tate made it out safely, but not without some bumps and bruises. Here’s exactly what Jimmy said about the experience via YouTube:

I was hiking a 7 mile trail when the sky began to darken. I took my earphones out and heard a siren alarming. I knew it was a tornado warning. I was still approximately 1-2 miles from my vehicle. The sky quickly turned black. The sound of trees cracking began and I realized it was hail falling from the black sky pounding everything underneath.

I panicked and began to run as fast as possible but I couldn’t outrun the storm. An amazing gust of wind blew so hard it was impossible to stand or run therefore I immediately took cover on the ground under a bush. My dogs Ruby and Tate instinctively crawled under me. It was like something out of a movie. I hovered over them like a dad would do. I laid there on top of them as they lay still. Hail beat the back of my head and my back and legs. Eventually I looked up at the sky to see if I could run and that’s when a golfball sized piece of hail hit me directly in the forehead.

I was seriously scared. My dogs were scared . I’d never been in this situation before.. We eventually got up and made a fast dash to the vehicle a half mile away. We were a muddy mess!

It’s set to Jimmy’s song Things I Believe, which is track number one on his CD Sara Smile. When we featured this video last year, Jimmy was in the midst of his Meet Me Halfway trek across the country to raise awareness for homeless teens. Great job Devvi and Jimmy!

Jimmy Wayne’s ‘I Love You This Much’ – The Perfect Song For Easter – Happy Easter Everyone!

Jimmy Wayne’s I Love You This Much – Enjoy the lyrics and the video below. Happy Easter everyone!

He can’t remember
The times that he thought
Does my daddy love me?
Probably not
That didn’t stop him
From wishing that he did
Didn’t keep him from wanting
Or worshipping him

He guesses he saw him
About once a year
He could still feel the way he felt
Standing in tears
Stretching his arms out
As far as they’d go
Whispering daddy
I want you to know

[Chorus:]
I love you this much
And i’m waiting on you
To make up your mind
Do you love me too?
How ever long it takes
I’m never giving up no matter what
I love you this much

He grew to hate him for what he had done
’cause what kind of father
Could do that to his son?
He said ‘damn you daddy’
The day that he died
The man didn’t blink
But the little boy cried

[Chorus:]
I love you this much
And i’m waiting on you
To make up your mind
Do you love me too?
How ever long it takes
I’m never giving up no matter what
I love you this much

Half way through the service
While the choir sang a hymn
He looked up above the preacher
And he sat and stared at him

He said
‘forgive me father’
When he realized
That he hadn’t been unloved
Or alone all his life
His arms were stretched out
As far as they’d go
Nailed to the cross
For the whole world to know

[Chorus:]
I love you this much
And i’m waiting on you
To make up your mind
Do you love me too?
How ever long it takes
I’m never giving up no matter what
I love you this much
